Van & Lori Bradeen
LEAD PASTORS
Van’s journey into ministry began with a radical transformation in his own life. A college football player who had embraced the typical party lifestyle, Van gave his life to Jesus at 19 and never looked back. As a brand-new Christian, he sensed God placing something on his heart: one day, he would pastor a church in Spokane.
After graduating from Eastern Washington University, Van and Lori, who married while in college, attended Portland Bible College. They later helped plant City Harvest Church in Vancouver, Washington, where Van went on to serve as a staff pastor. For more than two decades, that early calling to Spokane remained with him.
Then, 23 years after first sensing it, Van and Lori, along with two other couples, were sent out by their home church to Spokane to pioneer a new church. What began with a small group of people willing to follow God’s call eventually became Living Stone Church.
Lori, also a graduate of Eastern Washington University, pastors alongside Van and has a passion for helping people understand Scripture and apply it to everyday life. She is a talented potter and artist who brings her creative giftings into her ministry at Living Stone and in the community of Spokane.
