our pastors

Van is an ex-college football player who went from typical college partier to radical Christian when he gave his life to Jesus and never looked back.  It was then, as a 19-year-old new Christian,  that he felt in his heart he would one day pastor a church in Spokane.  After graduating from Eastern Washington University, Van and Lori, having married in college,  went to Portland Bible College and then helped plant City Harvest Church in Vancouver, WA, where Van became a staff pastor. 23 years after believing God had called him to pastor a church in Spokane,  the Bradeen family, along with two other couples, were sent out from their home church in Vancouver to Spokane and pioneered a new church, now Living Stone Church.  
Lori, also an EWU graduate, pastors alongside Van with a passion for helping others understand the Bible in order to apply it to our daily lives, worship, and all Organizational Communications.
