Our Story

How it all started...

Living Stone Church is a church plant from City Harvest Church in Vancouver, Washington.  Pastor Van and Lori served under Pastor Bob MacGregor for 10 years until they were sent out to church plant in Spokane in 2010.  We began as City Life Church with three couples who moved from Vancouver, WA with a heart to serve the Lord in Spokane.  We had to find jobs, meet people, and put our roots into this community.  The Lord has been faithful to add to our very humble beginnings.
On September 25, 2016, Christian Life Church of Spokane merged with our congregation.  Along with about 50 wonderful followers of Jesus, City Life Church gained strength in leadership with Pastors Kay and Barry Hill along with their eldership.  In February, 2017, the successfully merged congregations became Living Stone Church and in the spring we moved back to the former Christian Life Church campus on Little Spokane Drive.

Van, having grown up on the Colville Indian Reservation, has always had a heart to church plant there.  Starting in July of 2019, a small core of leaders began to meet with Pastor Van and a small team.  Monthly worship nights have gave birth to a new Inchelium Campus, pastored by Arlen and Abby Bradeen.  The Inchelium location is now fully independent, and as of January 2024 Living Stone opened the doors of a brand new campus in the Colville-Kettle area. The Lord is already moving and we look forward to seeing all He continues to do in this new plant!

MFI

Living Stone Church is an independent, non-denominational church. We belong to Ministers Fellowship International, an organization that exists to facilitate and nurture meaningful relationships among member ministers, equipping and enabling them to be more effective in their callings, for the purpose of building and multiplying strong local churches around the world.
MFI is not a denomination.  It is a fellowship.  For this reason, MFI does not credential ministers, hold church properties or maintain a central mission board.  All of these are functions of the local church.  MFI exists for the support of local church ministers and their churches.
