Missions Near

We believe we are called to help spread the good news of God's saving grace. We support a wide variety of missionaries and ministries both locally and around the world. These people are sharing the love of God by: meeting basic human needs, church planting, establishing schools and orphanages, running prayer centers, evangelizing on college campuses, supporting local Christians in dangerous countries, and helping pregnant mothers with support and resources when facing pregnancy, and helping people walk free from sexual sin or abuse.

If you would like to help make a difference, you can donate on our give page to support these ministries.

  • sexuality unmasked

    lifeline ministries

    spokane

Our mission is simple: To establish a Biblical standard for purity, sexuality, and family worldwide. In every place we have been privileged to sow Gods truth about sexuality and relationships, we have seen thousands of people set free and healed from the shame, guilt, and affects of sexual sin and abuse. - Jim Anderson, author of The Heart of a Woman and Unmasked: Exposing the Cultural Sexual Assault.

In 1990 Jim and Lisa Anderson took a giant step of faith and launched Lifeline Ministries International, mobilizing churches to respond to Gods heart concerning abortion. Lifeline, now also known now as SexualityUnmasked, quickly evolved into a ministry not only focused on abortion, but one of healing, deliverance, and restoration from the negative effects of abortion, abuse, adultery, immorality, pornography, rape, sexual confusion, and sex-trafficking. Our powerful message unmasks and exposes the lies in culture that falsely define the sexual roles of men and women and helps establish them in their true God-given identities. We have released healing to thousands of people worldwide by teaching and ministering at conferences, churches, and discipleship schools.

  • off Broadway

    spokane, wa

We feed the people physically and spiritually in the West Central area of Spokane. For 11 years we have cared for the needs of people by encouraging them to grow healthy families and healthy lives.

Relationship and Resources We feed people who are hungry (physically and spiritually) for HOPE. We provide Bible studies, bon fires and relationship building activities throughout the week. We point people to resources as we help teach families "how" to live a healthy and productive life.

    Feed the Hungry

The Lighthouse women (Women's Lighthouse of Hope) prepare and serve food for over 200 people every Monday night! This dinner is served on the street or at the Porch with an emphasis on connecting the people/children to the help they need.

    Distribute Goods

We distribute (at dinner and at the lighthouse) emergency clothing, food and other items as the situations arise.

We link the people with local churches and agencies who can offer further support.

We are followers of Jesus Christ who reach out in truth with love on the streets and into the neighborhood in West Central Spokane and beyond. Relationships grow as we stay connected to the community through Lighthouses. God's love seeks to help connect the people to Hope as we "Trust God" to bring forth the resources to feed, clothe and encourage the broken.

  • truth ministries

    spokane valley, wa

Truth Ministries serves some of the most troubled in Spokane’s homeless society, often rejected by other agencies, spanning from young adult to elderly. Clients of Truth Ministries are frequently drug addicted, alcoholic and mentally ill individuals, without the critical work related and social skills to function independently in society.

Truth Ministries works with other agencies to try and direct these men to services that will attempt to rehabilitate them. We also work with the homeless to attempt to get them into low income housing on a more permanent basis and coordinates these efforts with other agencies to do so. As of 2017 Truth has had over 14 years experience in working directly with the Department of Corrections, Police, Hospitals and other homeless agencies to provide nightly shelter and meals as well as drug/alcohol programs and housing. We work in conjunction with and cross-refer homeless men with Union Gospel Mission, House of Charity and Salvation Army. In this coordinated effort, Truth Ministries is hopeful that all of the needs of the homeless men in Spokane are met on any given night.
